Reiki is an ancient method of healing. Reiki the word literally means spiritual energy or mysterious atmostphere.There are different levels of reiki practitioners that one can attain.

Reiki student is the first level one is initiated into on the road to learning Reiki. Once a student has acquired the necessary knowledge of Reiki, and have received the attunement from a teacher to heal both themselves and others, they graduate to practitioner level.

Reiki Master (or teacher) is the highest level of Reiki. Only the practitioners who have a deep understanding of this amazing healing method can use the title of a Reiki Master. A reiki master is one who has received one of the reiki symbols, and is certified to teach students and attune the students through the 3 levels.

Become a Reiki Master

Almost everywhere in the world Reiki is known to have 3 levels or degrees.

In the first level, the reiki student is given basic instructions and are taught how to perform healing on both himself and others. In this level the student reiceives from the teacher four different attunements which graduate him to the next level.

In the next stage the student is taught to use the secret Reiki Symbols which are handed from teacher to student only. One more attunement is performed by the teacher and the student is able to perform healing from a distance on others. In this level the student graduates to become a practitioner.

In the final level, the reiki practitioner becomes a Master or Teacer and is taught to use a secret master level Reiki Symbol. The new Reiki master is able to perform healing on himself, other, directly or over great distances and also able to initiate and graduate his own students into different levels of Reiki.
